Backland Forge makes steel goods the way they ought to be made: cut from solid American steel and built to last for generations. No stamped sheet metal, no powder-coated pot metal. Just real steel you can feel the weight of.
How it's made
We cut on a fiber laser, not a plasma table.
The beam leaves a tight, square edge with almost no heat-affected zone, so the steel stays hard right up to the cut line. No slag, no grinding, no rounded-over corners, just a clean part that rings true and wears slow. It costs more and takes longer than punching shapes out of thin sheet. You can tell the difference the moment you pick one up.

Every piece is cut when you order it, which is why it ships in about 2 weeks instead of the same afternoon. We’re making yours, not pulling it off a shelf.
