Terms of Service
Effective July 2, 2026. Backland Forge, a DBA of FNA Distribution, LLC, is a small, American-made steel goods shop run by Nick Walker out of Texas. By placing an order with us, you’re agreeing to these terms.
Made to order
Every piece is cut when you order it, not pulled off a shelf. That means it ships in about 2 weeks instead of the same afternoon, and it also means personalized or custom pieces, meaning anything cut to your specific numbers, text, or design, are made just for you and can’t be resold to anyone else.
Pricing and payment
Prices shown are starting points in US dollars and cover the item only unless the page says otherwise. You send us your details through the request form, we confirm the price and a proof, and once you approve it we send you an invoice to pay. Nothing is cut or charged until you approve your quote. If a price is posted in error, we’ll let you know before anything is made or billed.

Limitation of liability
We stand behind our work, but we’re a small shop, not a large company. To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we’re not responsible for indirect or consequential damages from using or installing a piece. Steel edges can be sharp and pieces can be heavy: use good judgment handling and mounting anything you buy from us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes and contact
